This series consists of one register relating to the Matron's daily record of dietary requirements and medical treatments administered to children in Dundas House during January-July 1978. Inside the register, page nos 2-280 contain daily entries for each child and include the following information columns; name and details of medicines and dosages, times during the day when medicine was given, dosages of medicine given, and remarks relating to observations of the child's health, diet, or whereabouts. The register is fragile from constant use and handling and the binding along the spine is damaged. Some language used in these records (which reflects the language used at the time the records were created) may be offensive. This series may contain references to Aboriginal people who have died, which may cause sadness and distress to their relatives. No offence has been intended by making these records available. Care and discretion should be used when viewing these records.
