This series consists of one register in two volumes recording prospecting areas for minerals in District D, Maranboy. The register records the total number of shares, description of ground, area, the date of application and registration, fee, any extension of registration and associated fee, registered owner details including miner's right details, transfers, exemptions, crushings and encumbrances. Many of the entries contain details of surrenders, lapsed claims and expiries with the dates. The particular mineral prospected for is listed at the top of many of the records - in this register this includes the minerals tin and wolfram in the majority, with one copper and one gold entry. No mineral is listed for the prospecting area listed as PA 101D.
