This series consists of two registered agreements and associated correspondence in relation to mining in the Tennant Creek area. The first agreement is the Tanami Tribute Party Agreement which, according to information in the file, commenced on 29/09/1930 and was terminated on 31/03/1931. This file includes a copy of the agreement signed by 8 or more parties. Many of the signatures not being legible. The correspondence on file from JC Lovegrove (Warden) states that as it was registered in Sydney it cannot be dealt with by him. The second agreement relates to the cancellation of a Memorandum of Agreement that was entered into by Griffith Annesley, James Escreet and JG Stevenson in Sydney. The agreement related to a mining lease at Brooks Soak, in the vicinity of The Granites. The correspondence in this file is between Windeyer Solicitor (Sydney) and JC Lovegrove.
