This series consists of one register recording only one refused application for a residence area in the Mt. Wells vicinity of the Darwin/Waggaman Goldfield District. [District B] The register records the number of the tenement, the total number of shares, the locality, the locality description, the date of application and registration, the area registered, the area surveyed and the date, the class of holding - in this case residence area, registered shareholder details, details of transfers, exemptions, rent and details of encumbrances.

Recordkeeping System

One only numerical register with RA [residence area] prefix with B [Darwin/Waggaman goldfield] suffix. Volume 2 of NTRS 4074 also contains a tenement RA 9B but this is a dredging claim entered in error.
