This series consists of one register in two volumes recording prospecting areas in District F, Barrow Creek/Kurundi Field. The type of mineral prospected is indicated at the top of each entry. Minerals include gold, wolfram, tin, tantalite, bismuth, tungsten and copper ores including sheelite. The register records the total number of shares, description of ground, area, the date of application and registration, fee, any extension of registration and associated fee, date certificate issued subject to the land applied for being crown land, registered owner details including miner's right details, transfers, exemptions, crushings and encumbrances.
