This series consists of one register recording tenements for mining claims in the Daly River district. [District K] The register records the number of the tenement, the total number of shares, the locality, the locality description, the date of application and registration, the area registered, the area surveyed and the date, the class of holding - in this case machinery area, registered shareholder details, details of transfers, exemptions, rent and details of encumbrances. A cover sticker states that "all tenements in this register now considered under the new Mining Act." The type of mineral concerned is written at the top of each entry - in this register lead zinc and copper.
