This series consists of transcripts of oral history interviews conducted by Dino Hodge for the Darwin Gay Life oral history project. Eighteen men were interviewed regarding homosexual culture in Darwin. The outcomes of this oral history project included a theatrical presentation 'His Own Special Friend', the book 'Did you meet any malagas?', and a series of articles and public talks. The project focused on sexual and racial identity in Darwin's homosexual culture. Some contents of these records is sexually explicit. No offence has been intended by making these records available.
