This series consists of a register of mining tenement dealings used to record details of the objections, withdrawals, surrenders, refusals, agreements and renewals of mining tenements. The register contains the following column titles; number, type, date and time of dealing lodgement, titles affected, parties involved in dealing, fees paid and receipted and DME [Department of Mines and Energy] action. Consignment 1 of this series includes the dealing numbers 4000 - 4153 and, whilst it appears to be the subsequent register to the register in the series NTRS 3075/P1 which is a record of Exploration Licence dealings 1-3192, this series has more comprehensive information including the different types of dealings as well as the additional information about the parties involved. A note across the front of the register refers users to "the next register". Consignment 2 has the additional label of TCA on the front cover and a memorandum note within dated 31 May 1993 from the principal registrar CP Smith concerning extractive mineral permits and Section 178 authorities. Consignment 3 has the additional label of ASP on the front cover and has been bound upside down and backwards.
