This series consists of correspondence dockets and written applications for licences which include the associated maps of the areas referred to in the application, official recommendations, copies of granted licences and notices of intention to quit areas under licence. Information that has been recorded on the docket includes the date of application, applicant's names/company), area referred to in application, situation referred to in application, type of licence applied for, if licence withdrawn, licence transferred or licence renewed, application number and licence number. The file cover lists mineral oil licence application number, date of application, name of applicant, application type, situation, area, application received date, recommendation date, approval by Minister date and licence number issued date.
