This series consists of copies of two government regulations "Conditions under which ore will be crushed and tailings purchased at government batteries, such conditions being subject to cancellation at any time", which details the rules under the Mining Development Ordinance 1940 (GN 59/50 and 1940 No. 2/1940) and "Conditions and rules on subsidies for transport of ore to government batteries" which includes information about cartage subsidy, to assist customers producing lower grade ores, and deduction from subsidy when there is the recovery of retorted gold bullion.
