This series consists of completed forms of "Plaint initiating proceedings in Warden's Court" as completed at the Warramunga Goldfield; also included is correspondence relating to these hearings. The correspondence is filed before the forms and is primarily from AE Richards, Mining Registrar; many of these letters have handwritten notes made on them. The form "Plaint initiating proceedings in Warden's Court" includes the plaintiffs details (including their name and address) and the person named as defendant (including their name and address; companies are sometimes named or address given as care of their legal representative). The complaint was entered as a statement and the plaintiff entered the nature of relief sought. This form is signed and dated and witnessed by the Mining Registrar. The date the pliant was heard, at which court, the outcome and a signature of the warden are also recorded.. Some forms are accompanied by defendant statements.
