This series consists of a bound register of liens for 1936 to 1937 for Tennant Creek. The register records the following information: date of lien (including the day and the hour), the name of the lienor, the name of the lienee, the tenement encumbered (including the locality, number of tenement and interest encumbered), the amount of lien and the date of release. The volume also contains forms of lien tickets which record the details of the liens. This information includes the name and locality of the party accepting the lien, to whom they are granting it, the mining license it relates to, and the date due of the amount owing. The party accepting the lien then states that they will not transfer or assign the said share, or a portion thereof, without consent. The form is signed by both parties and include reference to the parties Miner's Rights numbers and when they were issued; both signatures are witnessed. Also included is related correspondence, two lien contracts and a certificate of discharge of mortgage.
