Function / Content

This series consists of an attendance register for Chinese workers at Hatches Creek and Wauchope Creek. These workers were the indentured phosphate miners of Nauru and Ocean Island who were evacuated to Australia in March 1942, and were then sent to work the wolfram mines at Hatches Creek and Wauchope Creek.The register records the following details; number, name, daily attendance (by month), and notes.
