Function / Content

This series consists of mining lease files relating to Warramunga Goldfield. Files include applications chiefly for the mining of copper but other minerals include; silver, antimony, tin, barites, manganese, wolfram, lead, zinc, molybdenum, platinum, palladium, osmium, and iridium. Files also contain maps, plans, newpaper cuttings of details of applications, and withdrawal of forfeiture documentation. The cover has date application received, subject (name of mine or person names in application), dates for objection, hearing, recommended, approved, gazetted, posted, application plotted, map number, if forfeited or withdrawn.
