This series consists of a registration book relating to home loan applications under the Northern Territory Government Home Loans Scheme. The scheme ran for five years (1979-1984) and was designed to be used for first or second mortgage loans, dependent upon the borrower's income. Entries were recorded in folio nos 1-143 with 7 extra pages attached to the back of the book covering application nos 1-4760. The entries contain the following details; application number, name, date, amount, term, purpose, file number, lot and street, and suburb.
