This series consists of correspondence relating to the Land Titles office in Darwin. Correspondence includes details of missing titles, land searches, purchase of titles and fees. NTRS 1725/P1 includes a document titled "Freehold Land between Adelaide River and Darwin NT, Supplementary List of Searches" (file [Correspondence relating to land searches]) which records the following information: section, hundred, title number, area (acres), registered owner, address and date of purchase. The earliest purchase recorded is 1871. NTRS 1725/P2 was previously part of NTRS 1494 which was reprocessed in November 2004. NTRS 1725/P3 was previously registered as F190.
