This series consists of a single register recording extractive mineral permits in the southern region of the Northern Territory. The index referrs to EMPS 1-145 and lists tenement number, date of application, holder, date of determination and previous tenure. A label following the index states:"If you require a new tenement number please refer to the all in one register at the front counter" Each page contains the more complete details for each tenement number recording security, status of land, survey plan number, area, locality, registered holder, details of transfers, minerals concerned, date renewed to, date of gazette, instrument issued, authority to occupy issued, date and time lodged, name of tenement, number and encumbrances. Not all details are completed for the 120 entries in the register.
