This series consists of correspondence relating to a mining accident involving LJ [Laughlin John] Campbell at Eldorado Mine near Tennant Creek on the 23rd of January, 1942. The incident took place when Campbell, a labourer working for Eldorado Tennant Creek Limited, had a large piece of steel shafting fall on his foot when he, and an unnamed other man, were attempting to move it; he was hospitalised for his injury. The correspondence takes place between Campbell, Milton Dunstan (the manager of Eldorado Tenant Creek Limited) and the A. Kelley (the Mining Registrar) A number of these papers are copies.
