This series consists of 40 bound volumes containing correspondence, circulars, minutes, newspaper clippings, annual reports and reports from other organisations. The volumes were kept according to subjects such as; Aboriginals, arbitration, branding, circulars, dips, meat industry, mustering, stock routes, and taxation. The contents are arranged chronologically within each subject and some volumes contain more than one subject. The volumes include material accumulated before the Northern Territory Pastoral Lessees' Association was established in 1923. Some language used in these records (which reflects the language used at the time the records were created) may be offensive. This collection may contain references to Aboriginal people who have died, which may cause sadness and distress to their relatives. No offence has been intended by making these records available.
