Function / Content

This series consists of index cards relating to pre-war lease owner names in the Northern Territory. Each card records the surname with initial or first name, type of lease and lease number, and what happened to the lease e.g. forfeited, expired, non-renewal, refused, date and if in Commonwealth or Northern Territory Gazette. Similar, but much earlier listings exist in NTRS 2813 and 2814.
