Function / Content

This series consists of a register of occupation blocks in Darwin and Emungalun. The volume was used to record the following details; number of block, name of occupier, situation, date and term of agreement, annual rent, paid to (date), and remarks. The register includes an alphabetical index (by applicant surname) at the front of the volume. Inside, the entries were arranged by the type of lease (eg, mission, residential, water, fishing, gardening, and residential).
