Function / Content

This series consists of a register of applications for agricultural leases. The register was used to record the following information; application number, date and time received, name, occupation, address, class (type of lease), situation (location), number of block or section, area (acres), how received (by post or by hand), decision by Land Classification Board, date of decision, and other remarks. The application numbers run from 1 to 991, with agricultural lease numbers added to entries from number 735 onwards.
