This series consists of a portion of a register of areas held under leases, licenses and permits. A subject index is included at the front of the register which listed the type of entries including; pastoral leases, pastoral permits, annual pastoral leases, grazing licences, agricultural leases (cultivation, and mixed farming and grazing), and town leases. Under these headings in sections of the register the following details were recorded; number, area in acres, and date of commencement. The register is missing the pages from page number 124 onwards.
