This series consists of two volumes of batched documents relating to submissions, correspondence, press releases and speeches regarding the Mineral Royalty Bill (later the Mineral Royalty Act 1982). NTRS 2402/P1 contains a speech given by Ian Tuxworth, Minister for Mines and Energy, regarding the Mineral Royalty Bill, and royalty policy in the Northern Territory (Volume One). There are also copies of a Cabinet Submission on the Mineral Royalty Bill with comments from the Department of Law, and the Department of Treasury. NTRS 2402/P2 includes a copy of the Mineral Royalty Act 1982.
