This series consists of a register of miner's rights. Each page in the volume was numbered (1-670) and was divided into columns for; number of right, date of issue, name of holder, locality, address, and remarks. The volume was divided into different sections to record details of miner's rights issued at the following locations; Darwin (page nos.1-63) during 1930-1942, Tennant Creek (page nos.199-274) during 1935-1946, Pine Creek (page nos.461-483) during 1930-1942, Arltunga (page nos.510-512) during 1935-1937, Maranboy (page nos.531-539) during 1930-1942, Borroloola (page nos.561-563) during 1930-1936, Alice Springs (page nos.588-599) during 1935-1937, various locations in Central Australia (including Alice Springs, Jervois Range, Harts Range, Granites, Arltunga, Hatches Creek, and Angas Downs) during 1940-1942 (page nos.599-609), Barrow Creek (page nos.611-627) during 1935-1940, Wave Hill (page nos.631-633) during 1930-1940, and Canberra (page nos.646-648) during 1932-1939. A register of miner's rights issued by the Chief Warden whilst travelling was also kept for the period 1933-1936 (page nos.665-666). There was an index to locations at the front of the volume but it has been water damaged.
