Function / Content

This series consists of registers of business names maintained by the Registrar of Companies. The registers contain the following information; number, name of business, statement of firm and business, date filed, and extra entries for changes and date of change. Volume 1 includes entries made during 1912-1964, with annotations up to 1981. The entries range from nos 1-200 (1912-1935) and then nos 1-2171 (1935-1964). Volume 2 contains entry nos 2172-4800 made during 1964-1970, with annotations up to 1985.
