Description

The Department of Regional Development and Indigenous Advancement was created following administrative change designed to refocus the Northern Territory Government on effective and quality service delivery and stronger regions. The new department brought together the functions of regional development, regional services, indigenous policy, and remote services coordination from the Department of Housing, Local Government and Regional Service; indigenous tourism development; and the function of indigenous tourism development from NT Tourism.
