This series consists of administrative correspondence for the Office of Business Affairs. The Northern Territory Office of Business Affairs came into existence on 1st January 1991, to carry out the statutory functions of Registrar of Business Names, Associations, Credit Unions, Building Societies and Co-operative Societies, and to provide advice on matters of Corporate Law Policy to the Attorney-General. Included in the files are investigation and prosecution matters; licensing matters; registration restrictions; policy advice and annual reports as well as personnel issues and more routine administrative matters.
