Function / Content

This series consists of registers relating to correspondence files. The three volumes contain a register of correspondence files available in NTRS 4518 (previously F77). Volume 1 records the files created during 1930-1949 and lists the file number and title on pages 1-123. Volume 2 includes files created during 1930-1954 on pages 1-146 and gives the file number and title. Volume 3 consists of registers for three recordkeeping systems; the continuation of the correspondence files for the period 1953-1958 with details of the new file number, file number, and title (pages 3-21), a numerical register of D [death] files from 1953 onwards with details of the file number and subject name (pages 182-186), and a numerical register of MD [mental defective] files from 1953 onwards including the file number and subject name (pages 189-190).
