Function / Content

This series consists of day journals for the patrol that went out from Darwin Station to the missions east as far as Oenpelli, west as far as Port Keats, over the Harbour to Delissaville and the islands to the north and north east of Darwin. Each register lists duty officers, vehicle details, tasks, meal breaks departure and arrival times. These patrols undertook general administrative tasks including firearm, vehicle and dog registrations in addition to their operational policing duties.
