This series consists of a register of assay and ore purchase returns. The register documents the following information: date, seller no. parcel, assays (copper, silver, gold), gross weight, percentage of water, net weight of ore, amount advanced ( [pound], s [shilling], d [pence]), date of advance, amount of final settlement (, s, d), date final settlement and remarks. Halfway through the register the columns change to: date, description of ore, number, copper, silver, gold, carbonate of lime, percentage of water, silica, iron, sulphur and carbon.
