This series consists of Applications for Amalgamation. The applications were made to the Warden (District A) to amalgamate leases under the Northern Territory Mining Act 1903. The forms relate to leases in the Granites and Tanami regions and each are signed CH Chapman. The Applications for Amalgamation record a statement as to the names and location of the relevant mines with a request that the warden amalgamate the leases under the style of another amalgamation for a certain period; examples of amalgamated lease (or claim) styles include the Gold Centre Group, the Chapman Gold Mine and the Tanami Gold Mine. Also included are the signature of lessees (or shareholders), the number and name of leases and claims, the Miner's Right and the date.
