This series consists of one register recording applications for tailings licence and tailings areas in the Maranboy District. [District D] The register records the total number of shares, the date of application and registration, the class of holding - in this case business or quarry area, the area applied for, the area surveyed and the date of the survey, registration fee and rent, survey fee, locality and description of boundaries, date certificate issued, registered shareholder details, details of transfers, details of encumbrances, exemptions and rent.

Recordkeeping System

One only numerical register, TA [tailings area] prefix and TL [tailings licence] with D suffix. Tailings Area No. 2781 was issued under the 1903 Mining Act.
