Function / Content

This series consists of police exhibits used in the 1982 trial of Lindy and Michael Chamberlain and the 1986 Royal Commission into the Chamberlain Convictions. The exhibits were returned to the NT Police in 1989. The exhibits were allocated a running number for the trial, and a new numbering system for the Royal Commission, starting at 1-132, A-Z, AA-ZZ, AAA-ZZZ, AAAA-ZZZZ, and C1-C465. Exhibits are in a variety of formats including audio and video tape, photographs, and written statements.
