Permission from NT Police, Fire & Emergency Services is required to access the records in this series. The records in this series are fragile and may be closed. Reference copies can be provided once permission to access has been granted. Contact staff for advice regarding applying for access. Function / Content

This series consists of Northern Territory police officers employment record files which include confirmation of appointments, memos regarding recreation leave, medical certificates for sick leave, notices of transfers, mileage claims and payments, certificates of service and dismissal from the Police Force. Also included are letters in regard to the establishment of a memorial plaque for an officer shot and killed while on duty, letters requesting special treatment (eg, permission to disclose classified information), newspaper clippings, and documents requesting confirmation on years of service with the Northern Territory Police Force.
