This series consists of correspondence files relating to the approved eradication program for the Brucellosis and Tuberculosis Eradication Campaign (BTEC). BTEC was a national eradication program that ran from 1970 to 1997 to eradicate the Bovine Brucellosis and Tuberculosis diseases in cattle.The correspondence files relate to specific stations or locations. The files contain a copy of the approved program which records details of the station including surrounding properties, access, plant and equipment, weather, tail tag groups, stock management, contingencies, and destocking and restocking programme details. In some cases the files contain detsocking compensation agreements, certificates of destruction of stock, laboratory reports and testing returns.
