Function / Content

This series consists of town land lease files dealing with land set apart as town lands under the provision of the Crown Lands Ordinance. The series was discontinued in 1981 when leasehold of town lands was abolished and those leases converted to freehold. 4 items are still held by the National Archives of Australia, Darwin.
