Function / Content

This series consists of envelopes containing Lien tickets on mineral claims. A lien is a right to keep possession of property belonging to another person until a debt owed by that person is discharged. Each envelope documents information about parties holding lien and subject to lien, amount, file number, mineral claim number, correspondence and Form of Lien Ticket.. Each envelope contains details of the parties holding the claim and who they hereby grant to, a lien upon, share in, numbered, situated, as security for payment, date, sum, dated at and date, lienor and miner's right (no., date of), liener and miner's rights (no., date of) witness.
