This series consists of water lease cards for the Northern Territory. They are on miscellaneous lease cards with water lease written on them. The informationa recorded includes purpose, address of holder, applicant and transferees, date of transfer, registered number of transfer, term of lease, situation of land, area, annual rent, document of lease with executed, volume and folio. The reverse of card records annual rent payable date in each year, year, amount due, payments made with date, rent, penalty and receipt number.
