Function / Content

This series consists of a register used to record details of payments for leases and royalties, correspondence, reports, and files. The 202 page volume was divided into sections. Page 1 includes entries relating to correspondence with details of docket number and subject. Pages 3-9 were used to record details of agricultural and miscellaneous leases for 1913-1914, including; name, application number, situation, section number, area, date allotted, date lease signed, kind of lease, remarks, and lease number. Pages 14-129 contains a register of payments for leases during 1933-1950 including the following details; date, amount, exchange, how paid, name of payee, paid in respect of, and mail opened by. Pages 134-138 include an index to general files for 1913-1916 with entries consisting of; number, date, name, and subject. Pages 139-140 contain an index of reports for the period 1913-1916 with details of the number, date, name, and subject. Pages 148-170 were used to record an index to settlers' files during 1912-1916, including; number of file, date, name, and subject. The back of the volume contains loose correspondence relating to payments for the period 1940-1941.
