Function / Content

This series consists of maps and plans showing traverse by road between places in the Northern Territory. Contain the type country that the traverse goes through noting type of trees, soil, creeks and rivers, crossings over river and crossroads to other communities or stations. The traverse is shown in miles, chains and links. The sizes of the plans vary in size from medium to large and are printed on paper and most have a scale of 8 chains to an inch.
