Function / Content

This series consists of the tapes recorded by the Northern Territory Oral History Programme as developed by the History Unit within the Chief Minister's Department from 1979 until 1982; followed by the University Planning Authority from 1983 until 1984; and the Northern Territory Archives Service from 1985. The recordings include the reminiscences and recollections of Territorians covering topics ranging from life as a drover to life as an Administrator.
