This series consists of welfare client files relating to Aboriginal people in the Central Australia region. Included are the client files of Peter Gunner and David Purula. The original contents date range for the file relating to Peter Gunner (file no. I160) was 17 May 1956 - 25 May 1963. Additional papers have been added to the file because of a court case relating to the Stolen Generations, including a copy of the subpoena for the production of files for the Federal Court case of Cubillo and Gunner v The Commonwealth of Australia.
