This series consists of a day guard's journal which was used to record a chronological entry of events, including; commencement of duty, receipt of keys, release of prisoners, musters, escorts, receptions, patrols, distribution of medicines, locking up of prisoners, and transfer of shift. This volume was salvaged from Darwin Gaol after the cyclone in 1974.
