This series consists of a volume containing registers of machinery areas, residence areas, and water rights on the Arunta (Alice Springs) goldfield. Column titles include; number, total number of shares, description of ground, area, application, registration fee, extension of registration fee, registered owner (name, miner's right, number of shares), transfers (number, date, transferee, number of shares), exemption (number, from, to), date of permit to crush and quantity, crushings (date, ore treated, gold therefrom), and encumbrances. Page nos 5-19 contains entries in the register of machinery areas for nos MA1H-MA15H; page nos 21-31 includes the register of residence areas for nos RA1H-RA11H; and page nos 60-87 contains a register of water rights with nos WR1H-WR28H and includes pipe track and subterranean water rights. The nine goldfields in the Northern Territory were identified by district as; A (Agicondi), B (Waggaman), C (McArthur River), D (Maranboy), E (Warramunga), F (Kurundi), G (Granites), H (Arunta), and K (Daly River).
