Function / Content

This series consists of a reference digitised copy of three images relating to members of the Northern Territory Cabinet. The first ministry of five Ministers which, together with the Administrator appointed by the Governor-General comprised the Executive Council of the Northern Territory was sworn in on 1 July 1978. The first image shows the Ministers from the first ministry including Chief Minister Paul Everingham and four Ministers; Ian Tuxworth, Marshall Perron, JM (James Murray) Robertson, and Roger Steele. The second image records a Cabinet meeting of the second ministry which was sworn in at the beginning of January 1979 with the same members as the first ministry and one new minister, Nick Dondas.
