This series consists of subject/topic folders or sheets of slides and prints of images taken by the official Government Photographer of the Northern Territory. The images cover the entire geographical area of the Northern Territory. Subjects covered include: events, functions and ceremonies; agriculture, industry, transport and mining; fishing, sport and tourism; buildings, street scapes and aerial photographs; Aboriginal art and performances; environment and natural scenes; health and education; and music, art and culture. This collection may contain images of Aboriginal people who have died, which may cause sadness and distress to their relatives. No offence has been intended by making these images available. Care and discretion should be used when viewing these images.
