This series consists of 1 volumes The records are in the form of computer printout. Each sheet is headed 'Northern Territory Government - Valuation Roll Listing (on line file)'. The top line also provides the date when the printout was produced, the district to which the valuation applies and the page number of each sheet. Entries are then split up into five (5) sections with each section having a letter as a means of identification. The entries in Section 'A' quote the Location Code, Lot Number, Type, Part Lot, Tenant Number, TP Zone, Area (Valuation) along the first line. The second line quotes the Street Number, Part, Street and Suburb. The final line of Section 'A' gives the Lease Reference, Survey Reference, Survey Lot Area, Approval Code, Subdivision Code, Title Reference (Volume and Folio). The first line of the next Section (Section 'V') contains information about the Year Built, Improvement Description, Improvement Number, Improvement Type, Type of Construction, Number of Rooms and Other Improvements. The next line gives the Valuation Code, Date, [Unimproved Capital Value] UCV, Site Improvements, Presc. Improvements and Obj. on the final line of Section 'V' the Valuation District is quoted and provision is made for comments. Section 'M' includes the Multiple Lot References including Location, Number, Type, Part Lot, Prime Location Number. Section 'D' gives the Postal Address of the Owners of the lot and Section 'E' shows any variations to Section D along with the Price Paid and the Date Purchased. The valuations are filed by lot number with two (2) valuations per page of printout.
