This series consists of one register in three volumes recording mining tenements for dredging claims (prefix DC] for District B, Darwin/Waggaman Goldfield. The register records the total number of shares, the date of application and registration, the class of holding, the area applied for, the area surveyed and the date of the survey, registration fee and rent, survey fee, locality and description of boundaries, date certificate issued, registered shareholder details, details of transfers, details of encumbrances, exemptions and rent. Minerals dredged include gold, sand and tin. Volumes 2 and 3 have a slightly different layout thus: the total number of shares, the locality, description, the date of application and registration, the area registered, the area surveyed and date, the class of holding, the name of holding, details of the registered shareholders, registered shareholder details, details of transfers, details of exemptions, rent and encumbrances.
