Function / Content

This series consists of exploration maps and plans of explorations of the Northern Territory. The plans cover the Barkly Region, Central Australia and coastal islands with a few in the Top End. The largely hand drawn maps and plans have routes and notes written on them indicating places, path taken by explorers, waterholes and terrain that was covered. The scale varies but has been noted on each plan.
